Whether you stay for a night or longer, whether you want to camp or stay overnight in our apartments or chalets. You are very welcome. We are looking forward to families, couples, coach touring groups and business travellers. Pure relaxation is to be found in our extensive sauna world. Even if accessibility is no must at the campsite, it is a self-evidence for us. Our high-end sanitary facilities are ground level. You are on your way through to the south with a big caravan? Brilliant. Stop by for one or two overnight stays and continue your journey in a relaxed manner afterwards. The offers at the Wieshof are as varied as the needs of our guest are.
A Jump Back in Time
Everyone who gets to know the Wieshof can hardly believe it: Heidi’s grandparents started out with a few tents in their garden in1954. Over the last 60 years the Wieshof has substantially grown. What started with the few tents has turned into a campsite, which is continuously expanded. In 1998 the apartment house and new sanitary facilities were built; in 2014 the two chalets were finalised and in 2015 the entire apartments in the main building were carefully renovated. In October 2019 our latest projects were finished: Luxurious and modern sanitary facilities, a sauna world with a Finnish outdoor sauna, organic-herbs-sauna, infrared cabin, spacious relaxation room and fitness area.
Why reaching for the distance …
… if the good is close at hand: A main concern of ours is regionality. For that reason our suppliers are mostly from the region, for instance the butcher Urban from St. Johann and the coffee roastery Piberger. Our spirits are home-made, we preserve marmalade, our eggs are from our happy, free-range chicken and the fresh water from the depths of the mountains. We get wine from our wine cellar, with carefully selected drops. We appreciate regional products, just as our guests do.
